Silvrback blog imageAfter checking into my Kaiser Oakland hospital room yesterday morning on the 10th floor (penthouse!), things began to roll pretty quickly. Many tests (including COVID, several blood tests, two different sputum tests, lumbar puncture), a picc line put in and plenty of forms and reviews of all the meds I’m on.

Silvrback blog imageThe latest PET scan confirmed many new lesions throughout my bones. I'll be going into the Kaiser Oakland hospital starting tomorrow morning . I'll begin the newest treatment which could last 5-10 days depending on how it goes. Possible scary side-effects, so hoping for the best.
